I admire the hell out of her. I read it in 24 hours and couldn't put it down. You will laugh like a crazy person, cry like another one, but most of all you will get a glimpse into the mind of a comic genius. I hope nothing but good things for this incredible woman. She deserves all the best things in life. I am a fan, and after reading this, if you have a beating heart in your chest, you will be one too. One of the best memoirs I've ever read! Keep being you girl! Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2018 Verified Purchase I fell in love with Tiffany Haddish after seeing her do an interview on Trevor Noah`s Daily News show. Her personality and sense of humor is just amazing and pulls you in. So when she started giving stories from her book about dating and religion and just life in general I definitely felt like I had to read. Her writing style isn`t your conventional Shakespeare style, I`ve earned my Doctorate in Creative Writing sort of read. It`s very easy to read and very down to earth.
The town is the gateway to some great beaches, villages and restaurants in the north. Cala Pada is a lovely little beach a few minutes' cycle out of town that's empty in the spring. My favourite club Photograph: Getty Images For a straight-up club tip I would recommend DC10, in the fields behind the airport. It's famous for the Circoloco techno party every Monday which feature huge DJ lineups, as does Paradise every Wednesday brought by UK DJ/producer Jamie Jones. There are no VIP tables – this place is for clubbers, where music rules supreme and nobody goes home until the last record has been played. • Entrance €35-€50, Carretera las salinas, km 1, Sant Josep de sa Talaia, Back street boogie Tucked away behind the main taxi rank in Ibiza Town, Malanga Café is a great alternative to the big club vibe and is open all year round. A favourite among locals, you'll find a lot of the Ibiza resident DJs dropping by to play a real cross-section of music throughout the week. The place only holds around 100 people which makes for a great atmosphere when it goes off.

2/27/12 Update: I've gotten a final response from KDP Executive Customer Relations, which states that the price on my book was reduced because another retailer (Kobo) was selling it for $. 99 at some point, "over the last couple months. " That would, I assume, be the issue referenced in the 6th paragraph below. Take from this what you will. # As most of you know, I've self-published a few e-books. The most popular has been Goblin Tales [ Amazon | B&N], a collection of five goblin-related short stories. I priced it at $2. 99, which seemed fair, and means I receive Amazon's 70% royalty rate, earning roughly $2/copy sold. From a strategic standpoint, Amazon's decision to offer 70% royalties to self-published authors was brilliant. A lot of authors who might not have otherwise self-published started putting both backlist and new titles up for sale. Over the course of several years, Amazon has become (in my opinion) the major player in self-publishing and e-books. A certain champion of self-publishing recently decried all of the "whiny bitches" complaining about Amazon, and argued how Amazon treats authors so much better than commercial publishers.
